#WeSoFancyDress Party

Back to School is a big transition in our house. With three school-age girls and one teacher mummy all heading back to work in September – we have to do something special to mark the occasion. We were invited to host a Back to School #WeSoFancyDress Party by Asda and it seemed like a brilliant way to mark the end of the holidays and the start of a new term.

We bought enough biscuits, crisps, and pizza to feed everyone. We made a selection of fairy cakes.

Then we set up a cake decorating area for the party activity.

The girls made cute flower biscuits. flower pot cakes

We also set up a sweet bar instead of doing party bags.

The best thing about the party was that the girls got to wear their new costumes from Asda. Charlotte chose a Cinderella outfit, after loving the new Cinderella film. Cinderella

Tis is a really pretty dress, with lots of sparkles and glitter. It looks so much like the dress in the film and has lots of little butterflies on it. I think Asda costumes provide briallnt value for money. You don’t want to spend much on costumes because they might only wear them a few times. These cost under £15 and look fantastic and you can get all their favourite characters.

Molly chose a fun Spidergirl outfit. I love the fact you can get superhero costumes for girls now. It’s much more fun to be a superhero than a princess.

We had a brilliant time at our #WeSoFancyDress and would definitely host one again.

Disclaimer: We were sent the costumes and some vouchers to host the party for the purpose of this post.
