I wanted to make a cute Valentine’s day card with the girls. They love all things heart shaped and sparkly so we gathered a few crafting materials to make some mini crackers. Before Christmas we made transparent snow globe crackers which I thought would work really well for Valentine’s day.

Materials You Will Need To make Valentine’s Crackers
- cellophane
- acetate
- ribbon
- heart shaped buttons, sequins and sprinkles

The crackers are really easy to make. You just need to cut a rectangle of acetate and roll into a cylinder.
To Make Valentine’s Day Crackers
- Stuff with the sequins and buttons.
- Roll a larger rectangle or cellophane around it.
- Tie with ribbon

To make the card I cut out a message and boarder using the Cricut Mini. You could do this by hand just as easily. I stuck the parts of the card together using Glu Fix all purpose glue.

I used foam sticky dots to attach the cracker to the card. I was a bit worried the cracker would be too heavy but the dots worked really well and it hasn’t fallen off even over night.

The finished card looks really pretty and sparkly.
