What can be better than putting your feet up with a good book and a cup of tea. It doesn’t happen very often here – sometimes the girls will be playing happily together and I can sneak a few minutes peace. For it to be truly a treat it needs to be twining tea and a classic book – like Pride and Prejudice – read so many times I know most of it by heart so a few interruptions don’t matter.
This literary gift set is a lovely treat for a book and tea lover – like myself. It makes a great present. I like a decent sized cup of tea and the mug is perfect sized and has the titles of great books on it. The set also comes with a literary themed notebook with narrow ruled lines. It is great for making notes for the next blog post.
With the set you can also choose a Twinings tea – with a choice of Earl Grey, Traditional Afternoon or Sunshine Grey. I chose the Sunshine Grey as a bit of a change and it is really lovely for Spring. It has the flavour of Twinings Earl Grey with just a hint of lemon. I found it very refreshing. I generally prefer tea with milk but this would be lovely for Summer or for if you want something a bit different which still has the comfort of a proper cuppa.
The set costs £18.50 from the Twinings website. I found the site easy to use and there were lots of other Twinings tea gifts which would make good presents.
