Before we went skiing in the Easter holidays I really had no idea where to go to buy a ski jacket. I wanted something practical yet fun, which I could wear again off the slopes. The main thing was I wanted to be comfortable. I was therefore delighted to be offered a review with Trespass. I have often bought waterproofs from them and I knew they were a brand who would provide good quality clothes at affordable prices.

I was really surprised with the amount of choice on offer. There were so many ski jackets I really found it hard to pick one. I eventually went for the Ballina Womens Ski Jacket. This currently costs an amazing £64.99. It is available in two colours, a fun Marine and the lovely dark blue, ink, which is the colour I chose.

I really loved wearing this jacket. As well as the dark blue colour I loved the contrasting zips, which provide a splash of colour and also make the jacket really flattering. The zip also has a reflective zip which would be brilliant for night skiing. It would go well with any ski wear.

There are a number of features which mean this coat is brilliant for a day on the mountain. It kept me very warm, even at 3400 feet where the wind was very chilly. The coat has a silver mesh in the lining which reflects your body heat, keeping you toasty. It also has taped seams so no heat can escape. It is windproof and waterproof so perfect for all conditions.

We went on holiday right at the end of the season and unless you were at the top of a mountian it was actually really mild. I founf the jacket, although good for keeping me warm was so light it was perfect for the bottom of the mountain too.
The other thing I loved about this jacket was there were so many pockets. I spent all morning skiing and I needed to take with me lots of things, like maps, sun cream and lip balm and of coures my mobiule phone. The jacket had safe pockets for all these things. I also had a handy pocket in the arm which was brilliant for holding my ski pass and meant I didn’t have to get it out every time we went on a lift.

I would definitely buy a trespass jacket again and would recommend them for anyone going skiing or taking part in outdoor activities. When I was skiing the jacket was really comfortable and kept me really warm and dry. The clothes are affordable yet offer so many technical and practical features. They also look great and there are a range of styles to suit anyone.

I have bought several things from Trespass for the girls. They looked great and they felt really comfortable wearing them, while being protected from the weather. This was one of Molly’s favourite jackets when she was little.
Disclaimer: We were sent the jacket for the purposes of this review.
