The Happy’s are a brand new range of toys from Flair. They are incredibly cute and I am sure they will be on top of lots of children’s wish lists this Christmas.
We were sent Mittens, a furry white kitten with pretty pink ears. This couldn’t have come at a better time as the girls have started to ask for a pet this Summer and I’m definitely not ready to take on any more responsibility.
To me Mittens is the perfect pet. It doesn’t need feeding or expensive trips to the vet but it’s still perfect to cuddle and look after. The best thing is this is an interactive pet. When you stroke its back it starts to move around the move. The pet is surprisingly quick and it’s movements are unpredictable, which make it lots of fun to run and chase after.
You can also control the pet using the Happy Treat remote control which has Infrared Technology. Each remote control causes the pet to perform a different action. The one which comes with Mittens makes the pet beg. If you collected different pets they would work on each of them, which is clever. There are also other accessories you can buy like balls and bags.
The motion sensor works really well . It is also really easy to turn off simply by stroking the pet again. This is good as some interactive toys seem to go on for ages and drive you to distraction. The motor when the pet is moving is quite loud but in some ways that is good because you can hear where it goes.
The Happys Pets cost £19.99 which I think is a really great price for an interactive toy like this. It does require 2 AAA batteries but because you can turn it off when you’re not playing they should last a while.
The pets are suitable for ages 2 and above which make them good for all the family. There are 6 Pets to collect. They are puppies and kittens which are great for cat and dog lovers. It also means I know what to do if the girls decide what they really want is a puppy
Disclaimer: I was sent the pet for the purposes of this review.
