The girls are big fans of Poppy Cat. A year or so ago we were sent some mini Poppy Cat toys toys to review and a cuddly plush and they have been firm favourites ever since, especially with Charlotte.
They were really excited to hear that they would get to see Poppy Cat at the Sealife Centre this weekend. What a fantastic treat. below are the details we have been sent at the event. The best thing about it is that the promotion coincides with a new parent and toddler mid-week ticket which means an adult and child under 5 pays just £12 to gain entry. This is brilliant as it means more little ones will be able to enjoy the aquarium.
POPPY CAT PARTNERS WITH SEA LIFE FOR UNDERWATER ADVENTURES
Fans of Coolabi’s Poppy Cat, the top ten rated show on Nick Jr, ITV1 and CITV, are in for a special treat at Birmingham’s National Sea Life Centre from 14th-29th September. Poppy Cat herself will be there to meet young fans and take part in underwater adventures.
POPPY CAT: MAKING EVERYDAY ADVENTURES EXTRAORDINARY
Parents and children will be able to enjoy story reading sessions based on ‘ALL ABOARD’ adventures. They can also be healthy and dance along to an energetic “Copy Poppy” routine, which encourages families to mimic the costume characters’ movements including the popular dance move, ‘the swim’, in time with the Poppy Cat theme tune.
In addition, Poppy Cat fans can continue the adventure at home. Nick Jr. will air underwater-themed Poppy Cat episodes every day during the event. There will also be exciting underwater content at nickjr.co.uk, alongside Poppy Cat clips, games and activities.
Visitors will be taken on a fascinating journey from the coastline to the depths of the ocean. They can discover a magical underwater world filled with a dazzling array of amazing creatures. The promotion also sees the launch of a new parent and toddler midweek ticket that means an adult and child under 5 pays just £12 to gain entry.
Jamie Turner, Marketing Manager at SEA LIFE said, “We can’t wait to welcome Poppy Cat to the National Sea Life Centre. There’ll be lots of undersea adventures and with the new parent and toddler midweek ticket we really think that parents will be able to bring their little ones for even better value for money”.
Michael Dee, Director of Content at Coolabi, the producers of Poppy Cat, adds, “Poppy Cat enjoys underwater adventures in the television series, so this partnership with SEA LIFE provides a great opportunity to bring Poppy Cat’s adventures to life off-air”.
The Poppy Cat TV show is a celebration of adventure as Poppy Cat and her friends embark on exciting journeys through fantastical lands. Told with humour and great heart, these stories give children a glimpse of their own potential for imaginative play and creativity.
