SPOOKTACULAR PONY TALES
Are you looking for a fun film to watch this half term? I was looking for something with a Halloween theme that isn’t scary when I saw MY LITTLE PONY: SPOOKTACULAR PONY TALES is out on DVD and Digital Download this October.
The girls are really into My Little Pony at the moment. It is a show they all love, and which suits their ages 5 and 8 perfectly. They like the fact there are different pony characters so they can each choose their favourite. It is a good show for children because the characters are fun and it has lovely messages about the importance of friendship.
This DVD contains six mysterious tales, featuring series favourites Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Equestria is aglow with all the fun that Nightmare Night brings, including pumpkins, costumes, candy and friends. With everything from a giant bear monster in the Everfree Forest to the mischievous Diamond Dogs up to no good, the herd have a lot to contend with. Even Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Spike come together for some ghostly escapades, but Princess Cadance gets into a spot of bother when Queen Chrysalis conjures up a devious plan.
This has a good mix of episodes and would be brilliant for a half term treat or a long journey. The girls really enjoyed it and particularly liked the episode where Pinkie Pie dresses up as a chicken for halloween. The only problem now is I have to make them a pinkie pie dressed as a chicken costume.
MY LITTLE PONY: SPOOKTACULAR PONY TALES includes the episodes ‘Boast Busters’, ‘Stare Master’, ‘Luna Eclipsed’, ‘A Dog and Pony Show’, ‘The Mysterious Mare Do Well’ and ‘A Canterlot Wedding Part 2’!
Disclaimer: I was sent a DVD for the purposes of this review.
