Miss Anna – A Jewellery Line for Children

The girls have got increasingly girly as they have got older. When I asked them to choose some jewellery from the Miss Anna line Anna Lou of London they were incredibly excited. We spent over an hour looking at every single thing on the website while they tried to choose their favourite. They loved everything and couldn’t decide.

Miss Anna Gold rubber duck

The Miss Anna line is a range of fun and colourful items aimed at young girls looking for their first foray into jewellery. The pieces are all easy to wear and made from materials such as acrylic and perspex so as not to irritate young skin or be uncomfortable. The girls all instantly loved the Gold Rubber Duck necklace. It is incredibly cute so I can see why. The duck has such a friendly face. When it arrived they didn’t want to take it off.

It was hard to photography the necklace because it is so detailed. The duck is made from colourful acrylic and has just the right amount of sparkly gems on it. It also feels like a grown up piece of jewellery as it has the Anna Lou tag.

The necklace costs £18, and while that is more than I would normally pay for jewellery for the children, it is so beautifully made and unusual it is definitely worth the price. I would buy it as a special birthday present and while they are meant for younger children I could see a teenager loving the style.

twins

We had a wedding a couple of weeks ago and so I encouraged the twins to choose some pretty hair clips. There are so many different styles to choose from and lots of different colours.

We loved the cute packaging they arrived in. It is really pretty and girly but still looks very grown up.

The hair slides were really pretty and were perfect for a wedding where you want something a bit special. I love the fact that while they were the same colour they had a different shape – which helped people who couldn’t tell the twins apart.

Charlotte chose the Sugar hair slide. It is a pretty heart shape filled with Swarovski crystals. I was really impressed with how the slides stayed in their hair. Usually I have to constantly fiddle with their slides to keep them from falling out. These stayed put and were really comfortable for the girls so they didn’t take them out either. I think because they are light they don’t drag on their hair.

Rose chose the Lara hair slide. This is a cute bow shape. She loves Minnie Mouse and a bow shape was very appropriate. Again it was really sparkly with lots of  Swarovski crystals and they both had lots of complements on the day. There are 8 different colour choices so you could find something to go with any outfit. I chose ice white because that will go with anything so she can wear it again. This only costs £12 which I think s a brilliant price for a special piece of jewellery, with so much detail on it.

I was really impressed with all three items. They were beautifully packaged, unique pieces which we will treasure. If you are looking for a special piece of jewellery for the little girls in your life then I head over to the Anna Lou of London website. Although careful – you will be there some time!
