Minion 3D Puzzle from Ravensburger Review

Minion 3D Puzzle from Ravensburger

We have got out of the habit of doing jigsaw puzzles recently. The girls have got a bit bored of all their old puzzles and have needed something with a bit more of a challenge. The Minion 3D Puzzle from Ravensburger seemed perfect. Having never tried a 3D puzzle before I was worries it would be a bit too challenging however I knew they would all love the fact it is shaped like a Minion.

The puzzle is meant for children aged 7+. Molly aged 8 just needed a little help to get started as she had never completed a puzzle like this before. Once she understood how the pieces fitted together she was absolutely fine and found it really easy.

The puzzle pieces are made of plastic not card. They are curved and not flat and so seem really different to a normal puzzle and much more interesting. They have a number and arrow on the back and you need to fit them together in order. This is surprisingly simple once you get going. You just need to remember to follow the arrows.

The puzzle is very satisyfying to put together and the girls were really excited to see it take shape.

It is a great size to try as it didn’t take very long. There are 52 pieces which is ideal for the 7+ age group. It only took about 20 minutes which was the perfect time to keep going and feel you have achieved something.

Once you have finished puttign the puzzle together you can slot it into the leg pieces and it makes a 3D model. This would then look cute in a bedroom.
