I have never seen the twins as excited as when the big parcel for Fisher Price Little People Palace arrived. As you ca see they really love princesses and so a palace with their favourite characters was their dream present. We were sent the Little People Disney Princess Palace and as you can see the box is bigger than both girls put together!
The palace comes with two figure: Cinderella and Snow White. We were also sent two packs of Little People. Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder – which are Charlotte’s favourite. These additional sets cost £11.99 and are all compatible with the palace. They would make a great gift ideas for friends and relatives and you can collect all your favourite characters.
Also Sleeping Beauty and Ariel.
They couldn’t wait to get the boxes open and start playing. I was really impressed with the packaging. It was simple to open and there didn’t seem to be a lot of waste packaging, yet the products still looked good in the boxes.
The Princess Palace took about 10 minutes to assemble and there were a couple of screws. The instructions were really clear and easy to follow and it made the structure really sturdy. The palace itself feels very strong and I know it will last even with the robust testing the twins give it! there are a few stickers which give extra details to the palace.
The palace set is designed for ages 1.5-5 and you can tell there has been a lot of testing to make sure it is safe for younger children. The twins love the doors which really open and the little turn table. This part needs a battery and if you put a princess onto it they will talk to you and sing one of their songs.
The characters are really cute and a recognisable as the princesses but with the distinctive Little People look. There is a lots of detail on them which you don’t always get in toys for younger children and I think this is why it appeals to a wider age group. These are great investment toys for a baby or toddler because they will get so many years of play out of it.
The palace itself is full of great touches. The twins love the balcony – which is perfect to recreate Rapunzel’s tower and even has a sticker of Pascal on it. Flynn can climb the tower in a handy elevator which actually moves.
The good thing is the tower can be used for any of the princesses or for all of them at once.
The Little People Disney Princess Palace really encourages creativity and imaginative play. Children can act out their favourite story or they can make up their own story.
The best thing for me is that it is large enough for two children to play together.
This set has already provided many hours of fun. It is so appealing and looks greta in any little girls’ bedroom.
The RRP for World of Little People Disney Princess Palace is £49.99. This seems a great price for how much you get and for the length of time children will play with it. It would work really welll as a joint present as different ages will enjoy playing together and you know it will be safe for a baby to play with too.
