The girls were sent a Fisher-Price Little People City Skyway Toy recently to review. This is a fun, colourful toy which they have had their eye on for a while after playing with it at a friend’s house so they were really excited to see it arriving.
It comes in a huge box which would make it perfect for a Christmas present. This is a brilliant toy for 1.5-5 year olds especially if they love playing with cars.

The City Skyway takes a long time to assemble but the instructions are really clear and simple to follow. The pieces are brightly coloured and very sturdy and strong and everything you need is included in the box.
The twins can be a bit gender biased and dismissive of toys they consider too boyish but they were really taken with this toy. They enjoy playing with cars and loved the Little people cars with their cute faces.

The toys have lots of detail on them. There is a girl and a boy, Tessa and Coby, so great for sharing between siblings. It would also work well in an early learning setting.

Once the Skyway toy is made it stands at over 3 feet tall. This is the perfect height for the age group. It is so bright and colourful and is sure to be a big attraction. You do need a lot of space as it isn’t easy to disassemble.

It is all the details we love. As well as lots of ramps to speed down there is a working set of traffic lights, a crane, petrol pump and a gate which you can open and shut. You can flip different switches to change the tracks or let them change as a surprise. There are three different exits which all end with a fun jump at the bottom.

The girls have had a lot of fun with the City Skyway from Fisher Price. Once built it is really sturdy and will last a long time. It would be a greta toy to buy for slightly younger kids so they get the most use out of it. This retails at around £39.99 which is a good price for such a quality toy.
