There is one thing which is guaranteed to get the girls really excited and that is a bouncy castle – there is nothing better. Which is why when they heard Inflata Nation an Inflatable Theme Park had opened in Birmingham. This is one of five bouncy castle places across the country and is situated in Stetchford Retail Park.

The girls couldn’t believe it when they got inside Inflata Nation. The whole place really is one giant bouncy castle. It looked so fresh and clean and we loved the bright funky colour scheme. Everything is blue, purple and orange. You don’t need any special equipment, just make sure you’re wearing socks and long trousers and sleeves.

It was really quick to check in, the website advises you get there thirty minutes before your slot. There are lots of lockers to leave your possessions in during your session. These take a £1 or £2 coin. There is a safety video to watch five minutes before your time.

Inflata Nation is such good fun. As the whole place is made up of bouncy castles you have to jump to get everywhere. This means it is great exercise as you are bouncing the whole time. It makes getting around from one

The girls loved the giant ball pool. It was a fun area to mess around in.

We all loved messing around in the ball pool and it was a good excuse to sit still for a few minutes and have a rest from bouncing.

There are lots of different slides at InflataNation. There is a huge double slide as well as smaller slides which go into the ball pool. The girls also loved Inflata Race, this is where two people can race through obstacles and see who can get to the end. There were tubes to crawl through, slides and things to jump over – all which test your speed and agility.

Inflata Duel is a gladiator style inflatable game where opponents have to knock each other off a ledge onto bouncy cushions. I was impressed with how many staff were at Inflata Nation to supervise. They were really friendly and made sure everyone followed the rules and kept safe.

The girls all enjoyed the climbing wall section. The ledges are quite small and I found it really hard to climb up but they loved it and the bouncy floor meant they were braver than normal, as they weren’t scared of falling.

An hour of bouncing cost just £9.95 for over four year olds. You can buy an extra hour for an extra £7. There is a dedicated area for under fours to keep them safe. This would be a fantastic place for a birthday party. There are also a variety of classes, such as Fitness classes, Disability Friendly sessions, Grown-Ups only sessions, Inflata Tots sessions, which is just for pre-schoolers.

We finished our session at the cafe with a much deserved slushy. The food seemed really reasonable and there were lots of healthy choices. We had a really fun time and will definitely be visiting again. The twins have already asked if they can have their birthday party at Inflata Nation.
