he girls have recently got into 18-inch dolls, they love the long hair and different outfits. As soon as we saw the box the Our Generation Dolls came in we thought it would make a fantastic wardrobe for all their clothes, it is the perfect size. 
To make a cardboard wardrobe we also used a long cardboard roll and acrylic paint. To decorate the girls used some sparkly letters and some flower cut outs.
The hardest part was to attach the cardboard tube. We cut it to size and then I used a hot glue gun to attach it to the top. After that, the girls painted their box with acrylic paint. As the box is quite pretty they didn’t need to paint the whole box but could leave some arts with the pattern showing. We needed to use quite a dark paint so it covered the box. Purple and red worked best.
To decorate the box the girls put the dolls name on the top with sparkly letters and added some flower cut-outs which I stuck on with a glue gun and some sparkly gems.
The wardrobes look really cute and you can decorate them in colours to match your bedroom.
The girls used one of the boxes of accessories to create a little pull out drawer to hold clothes and shoes. We cut this so it fit the wardrobe and they decorated it in the same way to match.
The cardboard wardrobe is fun to play with and also doubles as storage. It is a great way to recycle the box.
This is a really quick and easy craft but looks really effective.
