Homemade Camping Party Invites

Camping Party invites

At the start of the summer, we had a camping birthday party. It was a really easy party because the kids were so excited about sleeping in a tent in the garden they didn’t need any other activities. We made some easy camping party invites.

All you need for these are two different coloured cards, a pen and scissors. Cut the card which will be the tent into a long strip/

Then fold the short sides down to form a triangle. I didn’t measure this so needed to cut the bottom a little to even things out. Then simply fold the edges out to look like the doors of the tent. We added a few details using a sharpie. You could make it more detailed, painting on grass and trees and adding details like the tent pole. We wanted a quick card which you could make lots of quickly, so stuck to a simple design. I liked the two bold colours of the card.

In the flap you can write details of the party, or you could put this on a folded card and write the details inside. If you did that you could draw a picture of your friends inside, or even stick photos in.

I made the first one of these and then left the rest for Molly to make. As it is a simple design she would make them all herself. It is worth checking the address details are right though.

I would have kept all the invites the same, but actually, I like the fact they are all different colours. These are a really fun, easy way to invite your friends to your camping party and the tent really shows instantly what the party is about.
