At the Bullring Shopping Centre
Bring the family together to spend some quality time with one another this weekend. Join us at the IKEA family fun pop-up at the Bullring Shopping Centre on Friday 18th October.
Here you and your children will be able to show off your creative flair and let your imaginations run wild with a host of crafty activities – there’s even tin-can robot building – plus much, much more! If kicking back and relaxing is more the order of the day, then let us entertain you with a story-time classic. Embrace your inner calm, with a twist, and try some giggle yoga? Or perhaps get green-fingered with a spot of autumn seed planting? There are lots of things to see and do, and what’s more, all the activities are absolutely free for your family to enjoy, courtesy of IKEA.
The IKEA experts will also be on hand to share tips and tricks, that won’t cost a fortune, for spending some treasured family moments together.
What’s more, the first 50 children at the IKEA family fun activity stand will receive a £10 soft toy voucher to redeem in-store, plus there’ll be offers to take advantage of at IKEA Birmingham.
Marsha Smith, IKEA Birmingham store manager commented: “For IKEA, children are the most important people in the world. We know that families in Birmingham have busy lives, so we want to help them to find fun and easy ways to spend more time together without breaking the bank. This is where our expertise of family life in the home helps; it’s not about finding extra time or big spending, but sharing the day to day moments that bring the family together.

When: Friday 18th October
Where: Bullring Shopping Centre, Birmingham B5 4BU
Time: All day, from 10am – 8pm

Update:
We had a brilliant time at the Bullring with Ikea. I loved how the crafts were laid out. They looked really funky and inviting. We had to drag the girls away – even though we were next to the Disney store the girls were not distracted. I hadn’t realised how many craft things Ikea sells.
The pack for drawing and painting was really lovely and I will definitely be buying a few to gie as presents as Christmas – much better than a chocolate selection box.
