Dora and the Enchanted Forest – Review

I don’t know what is going on with the makers of Dora the explorer but they seem to be taping into all the things my daughter loves best. First feature length ballet episodes and now fairy and unicorns as Dora ventures into the enchanted Forest in her latest series of adventures. My daughter was in heaven watching these. They are just perfect for unwinding after school.

You know what you’re getting with Dora, an hour of fun packed interactive enjoyment for the little ones and an hour of peace and quiet to go on twitter, I mean to do the washing up for the adults. These episodes don’t disappoint. This is the biggest adventure yet, with a three part special leading to an hour long finale on Thursday only on Nick Jr.

Part: 1 – Tale of the Unicorn King – Tuesday 8th November at 4.30pm (and repeated at 6.30pm):
Part 2 – The Secret of Atlantis – Wednesday 9th November at 4.30pm (and repeated at 6.30pm):
Part 3 – Dora Saves King Unicornio – Thursday 10th November at 4.30pm (and repeated at 6.30pm)

Don’t worry if you missed the first part as each episode can be watched on its own. The full trilogy is then repeated back to back as a two hour special. Catch the first repeat on Friday 11th November at 4.30pm.

Here is a clip showing one of the cute songs. We have had this on repeat all day!

One of the best things about Dora are the games on the Nick Jr website. These are really simple and fun and my daughter enjoys playing them on her own. This week you can find special games and activities all related to the Enchanted forest. Only problem is I’ve been nagged all day to get the printer working so we can print off some of the colouring activities.

Disclaimer: I was sent a DVD of the Dora episodes. The views expressed are my own.
