The girls love pretending to be Doc McsStuffins. She is a character they always use in their imaginary play when any of their toys gets hurt. Charlotte particularly has asked for a Doc costume. Well she sort of has, the twins both call her Mc McStuffins. Therefore they loved being sent a Doc McStuffins Carry Along Clinic Playset to review.
This is a really great play set which is like a doctor’s bag and has everything you need to make your toys better. The case is really sturdy and means that everything can be tidies away neatly when you have finished playing. The outside of the case is bright and sparkly.
When it opens out you can see a little sink a space for all your equipment, an x-ray machine and a pull out drawer. There is also a mini laptop and a cute Lambie toy to make better.
There is a stethoscope, and three medical tools which really add to the role playing.
The girls all loved the stethoscope the best and enjoy using it to check that everyone is healthy. We have had a few toy stethoscopes before and they have all broken really easily. This one seems much more robust.
The thing I like best is that it is encouraging little girls to pretend to be a doctor. Not only is this helping them to be more caring but also is an aspirational career for them.
In the drawer there are some slides which work on the interactive screen. This has all the children’s favourite characters from the show.
You can press the buttons to test what is wrong with each character. You need to match the right tool to make them better. You can also press the heart button to hear the theme from the series.
This toy is suitable for children who are over 3. It costs £59.99 although this is not the cheapest Doctor’s case you can buy there is so much you can do with it and it really keeps the children entertained for hours. As it is a carry case it is really easy to pack up and take with you. I can see this being on a lot of Doc McStuffins fans wish lists this Christmas.
