The Disney store is an irresistible lure for my girls whenever we go shopping. They all have their favourites but the Disney princesses are a constant.
I think everyone has their favourite Disney princess – mine is Belle – a feisty brunette, with her head in a book. Molly likes Rapunzel and Snow White and Rosie likes Ariel and Sleeping Beauty because they are dressed in pink – which is her favourite colour.
The best thing about this play set is that it has all your favourite princesses. It is great for a family because they can each have a figure or two. It would make a lovely combined present if you were buying a joint present for a family.
The toys are very well made with a hard plastic which has a lovely finish to it. Some of the dresses have a shine on them which really looks like satin. There is a lovely attention to detail with these toys with lace on the bottom of the dresses and expressive faces. They would look lovely on a child’s mantlepiece as a display. Of course they are meant to be played with and they would fit in with existing toys even if you don’t have any other Disney characters. The children enjoyed playing with them with a castle we already had and they fit beautifully and it gave new life to a toy they haven’t played with for a while.
The figures are static but that means you can use you imagination and they can do whatever you want them to do. I have included a short video of the twins playing with the toys. They are having a party and dancing to the hockey cokey. As I’m sure all princesses do when they get together.
The figures included in the pack are Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Ariel, Rapunzel, Aurora, Jasmine, Pocahontas and Tiana. The set costs £20 – and I think that’s a good price for a product which will keep any Disney princess fan happy for hours.
They are suitable from age 3+ and are exclusive to The Disney Store.
