I received an exciting package from No7 a week ago. It might just be the thing to transform this blog from kids activities into a beauty blog – I have a fitting blog name already! My favourite make up range has always been No7. It is so luxurious but really affordable at the same.
I was sent three different Christmas looks with the task to choose my favourite. There was gold and sparkly, midnight blue and sophisticated red. You can find out how to get the looks here.
The packaging of the No7 products is lovely. It looks really sleek with a lovely shine to it. It always feels like a treat to buy something from the range.
My favourite look out of the three was the Midnight blue package. It is like a more glamorous version of my normal look so perfect for a Christmas do.
One of the things I was particularly taken with was the Stay Perfect nail polish. I love the midnight blue colour.
I have often looked for a dark blue nail polish and been disappointed but this is perfect. It only needs one coat to provide a really deep rich colour and the base and top coat mean it lasts much longer.
The nail colour has a lovely shine to it.
The only problem in my house is that if the girls smell nail polish they flock to wear I am to give it a try.
They were really taken with the gold sparkly Gel Look nail colour. This is sure to be a big hit at Christmas as it adds just a touch of sparkle to your nails.
The main draw for me with No7 is the basic skincare range. Each set came with StayPerfect Foundation which provides good coverage all day. My must have item was the Concealer stick – an essential item for any mother of 3. Although it’s light it provides good coverage and makes you like like you’ve had a decent night’s sleep, even when sleep is a distant memory.
There were a couple of new products which I hadn’t tried before. I love the radiant spheres highlighter which adds a shimmer across the cheeks which would be lovely under the Christmas lights.
Doing a similar job is the Instant Radiance stick. This is a creamy sticks which adds a lovely radiant glow.
The look focuses on smoky eyes lined with No7 Stay perfect Amazing Eyes Pencil in Deepest Blue. I really love the In the Navy Trio Eye Shadow Palette. The midnight blue is really deep and compliments perfectly with the shimmery gold and taupe.
This is a really wearable look which you would work for day time. You would just need a few coats of mascara and you are good to go.

I really loved the final look and would definitely be one I would wear for a party. It feels grown up and glamorous, perfect for a night out or even for opening the presents on Christmas morning.
