Christmas Jumper Biscuits - a fun recipe which makes a lovely personalised gift.

We used a simple cinnamon shortbread dough.

Ingredients For Christmas Jumper Biscuits

  • 6oz of plain flour
  • 4 oz of butter
  • 2oz of caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

How To Make Christmas Jumper Biscuits

  • Cream the butter and sugar. Sieve in the flour and cinnamon, mix and roll into a ball.
  • Roll out and cut using a T-shirt cookie cutter or a jumper shaped template.
  • Bake in a 180 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes, until golden.

I set out a decorating table once the biscuits were cooled. On it I included:

The girls loved decorated their Christmas jumper biscuits. It was really easy to make them look good. I made a few with red fondant icing, a fondant snowflake and decorations with piped white icing and silver balls. They were really easy to make and looked really effective. You could make a lot of these to sell at the Christmas fair.
