Baby Born Wonderland Doll

Baby Born Wonderland doll

When I was a child I used to carry a doll with me everywhere I went. I guess it was preparation for all these children I find myself with! The girls have not really shown any interest. That was until after they had opened all their Christmas presents when they suddenly announced that what they’d wanted was a baby doll! Luckily I was asked if I wanted to review a Baby Born Wonderland doll.

The Wonderland doll is an incredibly life-life doll which comes with a range of accessories. This includes a potty, a dummy, a plate and spoon, bottle, nappy and jewellery. She is dressed like a fairy with wings, and a glittery tiara and wears a pretty fairytale dress with butterflies on it. The girls were enraptured when she arrived. This is a really good set for a child’s first baby doll as it has everything you need to play straight away.

She has a detailed life-like face and her eyes really blink and close when she lies down so it appears that she has fallen asleep.

Dolls encourage nurturing and caring instincts and are brilliant for role play. This doll has added real life functions because it is interactive. You can use real water in the bottle and feed the doll a mixture that looks like porridge. The best part for the girls is that when you have fed your baby doll she with actually use the potty or fill her nappy. They were thrilled by this function and spent about an hour just getting her to sit on her little potty.

The doll can cry tears although it is quite hard to press its arm to get the tears out. I was really pleased it doesn’t make an annoying noise and doesn’t need batteries. You can give this doll a bath or take it in the swimming pool, although you shouldn’t fully submerge her. She has posable arms and legs and sits really well on her own.
