West Bromich Inflatanation

It’s worth having a few indoor activities planned in the Summer holidays. There are always a few rainy days and I love an activity where the kids can still burn off some energy and have fun at the same time. Which is why we were delighted to be invited to the opening of the new Inflatanation, inflatable Theme Park in West Bromwich. This theme park is above the shops in Astle retail park, which means it is ideally suited to have as a reward for a successful shopping trip.

There is a reasonably priced pay and display car park next to Inflatanation. It is easy to find off the M5, without having to go into the town centre. When you arrive it’s worth getting a locker to store all your things. You then go upstairs and watch a short safety video. The inflatable theme park is really colourful and looks so fun and inviting. The girls couldn’t wait to get bouncing.

The entire area of Inflatanation is a giant bouncy council. You are bouncing the whole time so its fantastic exercise. There are lots of staff on hand to ensure everyone is following the rules. We all loved the large area in the middle where you can bounce. You can get pretty high.

There are so many different slides to choose from. You can start small and then go on the bigger slides when you get your confidence. The girls particularly liked the slide with the ball pit any the end. It’s so much fun to whizz into a giant pile of colourful balls. The stairs up to the slides are really easy to climb, don’t worry they’re not bouncy! Remember to wear long sleeves and leggings when you go to Inflatanation so you don’t get friction burns if not. We forgot as it was such a hot day but you can always get changed after.

If you are tired after all the bouncing, then the large ball pit is a great place to hang out. The girls enjoyed throwing the balls at each other, too of course. There is an assault course to go on, with lots of tunnels and slides. This definitely gets your heart racing. There is also a gladiator style Inflata Duel. You can challenge your sibling to a fight using inflatables and work off some of the tension which builds up in the Summer holidays.

If you love shows like Ninja Warrior then this is definitely the place for you. There are some giant balls you can try to jump across. It looks quite scary but you know you’ll get a safe landing. When you are tired of jumping then there is a cafe area where you can stock up on treats. The girls loved the colourful slushies which gave them lots of energy for even more fun.

Tickets for Inflatanation cost £9.99 for an hour for ages 4+. You can buy an extra hour for £7. Two hours is definitely enough time as it is tiring to be constantly bouncing. The girls were shattered and happy after their time at Inflatanation. We will definitely be visiting again.

Here is our video of the day.
