Cross Wanderlust Everest Ballpoint Pen Review

As a stationery lover, there is really nothing better than a new pen. To celebrate National Stationery Week, I was asked to review a gorgeous pen from Cross. I jumped at the chance because I have always wanted to own a Cross pen due to the fine craftsmanship and design which hasn’t changed since the company was established in 1846

You know you are about to unpack something truly special when you first see the box. The packaging is elegant and classic in dark blue and gold lettering with the Cross lion logo. The pen sits snuggly inside a padded lining

Inside the box is the loveliest pen I have ever seen. The design is simply stunning and will look good on any writing desk. It is inspired by Mount Everest and is meant to evoke ice-slicked mountaintops. I love the beautiful swirling patterns on the crips white lacquer surface. The glint of silver chrome swirls across through the pattern making it really shine.

When you pick up the pen, it has a satisfying weight to it. It is lovely to write with and writes smoothly and evenly making the writing process really easy and enjoyable. My handwriting has never looked so good. The pen has specially formulated ink which means it flows flawlessly.

This really is a pen for all occasions. It would make a lovely present for a memorable special occasion. There are three different choices of nib, ballpoint, rollerball and fountain pen, costing from £65 to £84. It also comes in four different patterns, each as lush and desirable as the next. Antelope Canyon which evokes fiery canyons Borneo with lush green rainforests and my personal favourite Malta with crystal-blue seas. The other designs and nibs are definitely on my wish list. With this pen, I feel like a real writer, now I just need something really special to write about.
