Stationery staples from STAPLES

I don’t think a review for stationery can come at a better time. When I was asked to review some essential stationary products as part of National Stationery Week I had no way of knowing that we would all be suddenly working or learning from home and need a big supply of affordable stationery. Luckily STAPLES is still online to take care of all your stationery needs. Their name is just perfect because you can find all staples you need to get on with your work.

I don’t know about you but whenever I sit down to work or finally get the kids to start on their homework we can never find a pen or a pencil. I try to keep everything they need in one place but those essential items just disappear every time. A pack of super sharp pencils is just what you need. These come with a rubber on the top and I was impressed because it actually does a good job of rubbing out. The pencils feel nice to hold and don’t break easily.

We were also sent a bumper pack of pencils. A pack of 12 costs just over £% which is excellent value for money. The pens write smoothly in blue ink and seem to last a good amount of time. Also, they don’t run dry straight away if you leave the lid off which is a good thing as most children seem to really struggle with putting a lid back on. We seem to go through packs of post-it notes so quickly. We use them for so many things, shopping lists, revision notes or just to leave each other messages. It’s so handy to have a big block of brightly coloured notes to hand and this one costs under £2 for 400 sheets which is much cheaper than I have seen elsewhere.

When schools were closed so suddenly lots of children had left their books at school. An A4 notebook like this is really useful as you can take out the pages neatly along the perforated edge and give them to different teachers or you could use the holes to put into a ring binder. This has a spiral binding so you don’t need to fold back the cover and has a ruled line on both sides. I have a feeling we will go through a lot of these notebooks over the next few weeks.

If you are looking for low-cost essentials to get your home office or homeschool up and running then I would definitely recommend these practical, well-designed products.

Disclaimer: I was sent the products for the purposes of this review.
