Jewellery for Mother’s Day

I always want to get something really special for Mother’s Day but end up resorting to flowers or chocolates. This year I was delighted to be asked to review a beautiful Jana Reinhardt necklace. I had seen some photos on Facebook of the Jana Reinhardt jewelry collection and loved the look of them. The designs are really unusual and elegant. It is perfect for Mother’s Day as it is so unique.

“Our jewellery is aimed at people who care about quality and like things that are quirky and individual.”

We were sent this stunning Lioness and Cub necklace. It is perfect for us as we love bog cats and the design symbolizes motherhood for me. I love the fact there are so many different options to personalize your piece and make it just right for that special someone. There are two different chain lengths as well as 10 different metal types. You can even get it engraved with a message. Due to the range of finishes, the price varies from a silver necklace costing just £95 to a platinum version costing £1,115.

There is so much detail in the charm, the lioness looks unbelievably lifelike, you can almost hear her roar. The thing I like best is that all the pieces are handcrafted. This jewelry is a sustainable choice because it uses traditional techniques of wax carving and fabrication rather than machines.

The necklace comes beautifully boxed in elegant packaging. It will be treasured for many years to come and will remind me of my little lion cubs. I will definitely be looking at Jana Reinhardt for the next time I want to buy jewellery. I particularly love the birth flower stacking rings and the animal lockets, if anyone wants to take note for next Mother’s Day.

Disclaimer: I was sent the necklace for the purposes of this review.
